As Peter and Miles attempt to stop Venom, Peter is debilitated by a trace amount of the symbiote still within him. After Miles settles his differences with Li, the latter uses his powers to convert Peter’s symbiote traces into the Anti-Venom symbiote, which can destroy other symbiotes. Concurrently, Venom recovers the meteorite that originally brought him to Earth and empowers himself with it, accelerating his infestation on New York. Peter and Miles distract Venom while Mary Jane steals the meteorite and destroys it with the EMF’s particle accelerator, destroying Venom’s symbiote horde.

2025 kicks off with highly anticipated PC ports, the return of Donkey Kong, and at least one hidden-object game with cats. Spidey fans can take advantage of deals on all three Spider-Man games for PS5 during PlayStation’s Days of Play promotion. Collector’s Edition PS5 games and DualSense controllers are discounted in PlayStation Direct’s Black Friday sale. Harry reunited with Peter and Mary Jane early in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, apparently cured of his terminal condition and ready to use his family’s resources to change the world.

This isn’t just a simple character swap mechanic – how you use them is fundamental to how you progress through the game. Not much is known about Spider-Man 2’s story, but we did get a lot more insight with the story trailer. Picking up after the events of the first game, the sequel will see Peter Parker and Miles Morales cross paths with the iconic anti-hero Venom. Two suits in Spider-Man 2 can be acquired only through the March 7, 2024 DLC, “The Fly N’ Fresh Suit Pack,” which includes the Fly Suit for Peter and the Fresh Suit for Miles.

Upper West Side – Spider-bot – Secret Wars

These characters do add a bit more flavour to the world and its largely homogenous population of NPCs you’re clearly not intended to look at too closely. Speaking of boss battles, that’s one area that takes a noticeable step up from our initial tangos with Kingpin, Vulture, and the rest. One of my criticisms of the first in Insomniac’s series was how uninspired many of the showdowns felt, with their quicktime-heavy fights making a light impact. Improvements were made in Miles Morales, but here in the full-fledged sequel, boss battles really come to life. You’re made to wait a little too long for them sometimes, but when they do arrive they never fail to excite.

The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time

For Platinum you need 100% district completion which requires finding all 160 collectibles. The collectibles get marked when unfogging the map (except Spider-Bots) so they are easy to find. The map gets unfogged when reaching District Completion Level 2 (from finding Collectibles) or going everywhere manually to unfog a radius around you. All of the quest-related trophies come from the story and district completion.

When the original Marvel’s Spider-Man arrived back in 2018, comic book fans quickly hailed it as one of the best superhero games of all time, with many ranking it alongside the Batman Arkham series. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 stars Peter Parker and Miles Morales, facing off against three iconic Spider-Man villains. The first is Kraven the Hunter (Sergey Kravenoff), who arrives to New York alongside his gang to hunt who he perceives to be a worthy opponent. Said prey is the Lizard (Dr. Curt Connors), the second villain of the game, who Peter and Miles have to save from Kraven’s hunters. The pair does not work together as well as they used to, as Miles notices his older colleague gradually change.

It’s exciting that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has already been listed on Steam and the Epic Games Store, giving players more ways to experience this adventure. The final trailer shows more of Venom and a newly revealed villain in the form of Sandman. It also shows more of the Venom in the symbiote form and how it affects Peter mentally with the black suit, as well as how Venom becomes his own humanoid form by latching onto one of the characters. Instead of arriving on Earth via a meteorite, as it did in the video game, the Venom symbiote came to Earth already bonded to Spider-Man, fixing itself to him while he participated in the cosmic showdown SECRET WARS (1984).

The best thing MJ contributes to this game is when she turns into Scream. She vents her frustrations with herself and Peter in a way that shows she isn’t this perfect paragon she’s presented as the rest of the time. Lean into that and show that she’s just as flawed as the main two heroes, and more people might actually start to like her. It brings you closer to that Batman feeling of utterly dominating nameless thugs with your combat prowess. And the way both characters’ powers grow over the course of the story are very satisfying.

Insomniac brought back the ability to change the super-suit you have equipped. They reduced the amount of suits Peter has, as Peter and Miles each have their own suits. There is also a variety of side characters that will pop up throughout the adventure.

The Saving Lives Suit is an original design by Insomniac, and is a new suit for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. The Anti-Ock Suit is an original design by Insomniac, and is a returning suit from Marvel’s Spider-Man (2018). The Kumo suit is an original design by artist Peach Momokko, and is a new suit for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

Having already killed Scorpion, Vulture, Shocker, and Electro, Kraven attempts to capture Black Cat. However, Miles helps her escape to Paris by using the mystical Wand of Watoomb. Meanwhile, Otto obsesses over creating enhanced limbs that exceed the human body’s limitations, creating four mechanical tentacles operated from his back and mentally controlled via a neural interface. He reveals to Peter that he is suffering from a neuromuscular disease that will inevitably immobilize him and that enhanced limbs will allow him to continue his work when his body fails.

Slice into the action of ‘Marvel’s Wolverine,’ launching on PS5 in Fall 2026. In Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on PC with ray reconstruction enabled, we see more detailed ray-traced reflections and better-defined ray-traced shadows, especially when viewing raytracing effects at steep angles.

But out of this expansive rogues gallery, Venom is the magnum opus that reprises every emotional note the rest of the game has played. TR88 -Man 2 foreshadows the looming threat he poses over dozens of its 31 main story missions. Thankfully, you’ll have massively-enhanced gadgetry and powers by the time you finally face him. Spider-Man 2 (PS5) brings back some of the old suits from the previous two games including news suits and outfits for this sequel from vintage suits to what-if scenario costumes. Movement is handled very similarly to the previous games in the series.
